Transporter 60 Anniversary Pack introduced
Volkswagen is certainly making a concerted effort to celebrate 60 years of Transporter sales in the UK. Following the Sportline 60 special edition, which was unveiled in July, a Transporter 60 Anniversary Pack is now being offered too.
Available to T5 owners, it’s basically a collection of aftermarket accessories. Included are some unique bodywork decals, a piano black upper grille and exclusive waterproof front seat covers with embroidered logos. Furthermore the door mirror caps, side indicator surrounds and tail guard cover all gain a chrome finish, plus there are LED daytime running lights for the Trendline and Highline models.

Dealers will begin retailing the Transporter 60 Anniversary Pack next week at prices ranging from £609 to £1,009 (including VAT and fitting). That seems rather steep, even with the incentive of a free Transporter history book for the first 250 customers.
