Interbrand’s most valuable auto brands of 2018

Toyota is still the world’s top automotive brand, according to the 2018 Interbrand 100 Best Global Brands study. As in previous years, that assessment was based primarily on financial performance, competitive strength and influence over purchasing decisions.

Generally, the results didn’t change much compared to 2017. Nissan and Volkswagen both overtook Audi, while Harley-Davidson slipped behind Mini and Ferrari. Indeed, the American motorcycle manufacturer suffered a significant drop in its overall worth.

Subaru was a new entry, with clarity, authenticity and engagement being cited as key attributes. Tesla disappeared from the list, though.
