Škoda has released two Kamiq design sketches

At this year’s Geneva International Motor Show, Škoda will unveil the new European-specification Kamiq (which only shares its name with the existing Chinese-made Kamiq).

As a teaser campaign is almost obligatory for car launches nowadays, a couple of images have been published that depict the small SUV’s exterior styling.

The front is certainly the most striking aspect. There, a broad grille is flanked by a split LED headlamp arrangement that places the daytime running lights above the main units.

Otherwise, in terms of proportions and surface detailing, the looks are pretty much what would be expected from a contemporary Škoda.

Honda WSB team launch

Honda has unveiled its works team for the 2011 World Superbike championship . The announcement of Castrol as title sponsor means the return to a very familiar colour scheme for the pair of CBR1000RR Fireblade bikes, which will be ridden by Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus. As in recent years, Honda has entrusted Dutch concern Ten Kate Racing with running the factory WSB team. First thing on the Castrol Honda agenda is a two day testing session at the Motorland Aragón circuit in Spain later this week. The 2011 WSB season comprises thirteen rounds with Phillip Island, Australia hosting the opening race on 27 February.
