Škoda Yeti Laurin & Klement

Škoda has begun UK sales of its Yeti Laurin & Klement. Based on the existing Elegance variant, the newcomer adds plenty of extra equipment for a £2,000 price premium.

That name honours Václav Laurin and Václav Klement, the founders of the company that eventually became Škoda Auto. It has traditionally been applied to high-end Škoda models, a custom that the Yeti version continues.

The interior specification includes black leather upholstery with silver stitching, piano black trim, a panoramic sunroof, a heated windscreen, satellite navigation, a DAB radio, special floor mats and parking sensors.

On the outside, the Laurin & Klement is identified by its 17” polished alloy wheels, chrome-trimmed side protection mouldings, unique door sill scuff plates and a set of silver roof rails.

As befits its range-topping status, the Yeti Laurin & Klement is only available with all-wheel drive. Buyers have a choice of one petrol and two diesel engines, with prices starting from £24,835:
