Yamaha D’elight launched

It might have a daft name, but the new Yamaha D’elight could nevertheless appeal to those riders who want a neat and agile scooter for urban use.

Power comes from a four-stroke, air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder 114 cc engine that develops 7.1 bhp (5.3 kW / 7.2 PS) with 7.6 Nm (5.6 lb/ft) of torque. However, the retro-styled D’elight has been built around a compact steel tubular frame, giving it the dimensions and manoeuvrability of a smaller-capacity machine.
