Rolls-Royce Waterspeed Collection previewed

The Bespoke Waterspeed Collection from Rolls-Royce pays homage to the Bluebird K3 hydroplane boat in which Sir Malcolm Campbell set a world waterspeed record in September 1937.

Based on the Phantom Drophead Coupé, the limited edition will feature eye-catching Maggiore Blue paintwork with a brushed steel bonnet and windscreen surround. Further specification details are set to be confirmed closer to the car’s launch later this year, and for now only a designer’s sketch has been released by Rolls-Royce.

Intended to showcase the marque’s Bespoke personalisation programme, production of the Waterspeed Collection is going to be limited to 35 examples.
