Mercedes-Benz V-Class AMG Line launched

A van-based people carrier might not be an obvious 'sporty makeover' candidate. That hasn't stopped Mercedes-Benz from creating an AMG Line package for the V-Class, though.

It comprises redesigned bumpers, subtly altered sills, a small tailgate spoiler and a set of 19” seven-twin-spoke alloy wheels. Also fitted is a revised suspension set-up that has been lowered by 15 mm (0.6”) and features stiffer springs and dampers.

Inside, a black headlining, brushed aluminium pedals and faux carbon fibre trim provide a suitably different ambiance.

The AMG Line upgrade will be available across all engine and body length combinations. Its arrival at the end of this year is due to coincide with the introduction of some additional options for the V-Class. They include a huge two-section panoramic sunroof and a larger centre console that incorporates a cooler compartment.
