Jeep launches the Cherokee Night Eagle edition

Jeep's latest special edition Cherokee combines a few cosmetic tweaks with some extra specification. Called the Night Eagle, it's based on the existing Longitude Plus trim grade.

Distinguishing features include deep-tint glass, gloss black roof bars, satin grey bodywork elements and a unique tailgate badge. Furthermore, the usual 17” alloy wheels have been upgraded to gloss black 18” five-spoke items.

Inside, the Longitude Plus standard equipment list is augmented by leather upholstery, electrically-adjustable lumber support for the driver and front-seat heating.

Power is provided by a 2.2 litre MultiJet turbo diesel engine which produces 197 bhp (147 kW / 200 PS) with 440 Nm (324 lb/ft) of peak torque. That output is sent to an Active Drive I 4x4 system via a nine-speed automatic transmission.
