Toyota Yaris Orange Edition revealed

Too often manufacturers go down the hackneyed route of producing black-themed special models when a few extra sales are needed. So kudos to Toyota for deciding to introduce the Yaris Orange Edition instead.

Naturally, striking Orange Twist metallic paint is the only colour option for this version of the French-built supermini.

Based on the Icon trim grade, its additional equipment list includes a fixed Skyview panoramic roof, LED daytime running lights, LED rear light clusters, a tailgate spoiler and upgraded 16” alloy wheels.

The Orange Edition's interior meanwhile gains rear electric windows, a black headlining, piano black trim and unique orange-stitched floor mats.

When deliveries begin next month customers will have a choice of four powertrain combinations. Compared to the Yaris Icon, prices are generally £1,530 higher, although the hybrid variant carries a slightly lower premium of £1,500.
