Naim For Bentley home speakers launched
Like most other premium motor manufacturers, Bentley isn't averse to sticking its name on non-automotive products. The latest such venture is a couple of home wireless speaker systems.
Called Mu-so and Mu-so qb, they have been developed by renowned Wiltshire-based hi-fi company Naim Audio. As both use Bluetooth connectivity, either downloaded or online sources can be streamed from various devices.
Several design features provide visual links to Bentley's car interiors and the Naim Audio upgrades available for them. These include the pattern embossed on the anodised aluminium case, the knurled rotary control and the 'Portland' grille colour.
The Mu-so, which is rated at 450 watts, incorporates six speakers. Its price tag is £1,199, or $1,694 in the United States (excluding local taxes).
Alternatively, the more compact Mu-so qb produces 300 watts at a cost of £749 ($1,108).
