Fiat updates the Panda Waze for 2019

Various cosmetic changes and some additional powertrain choices benefit the latest Panda Waze special edition, which is still based on the existing Cross trim grade.

Customers can now combine a black roof panel with Giotto Blue, Colosseo Grey, Moda Grey, Amore Red, Gelato White or Sole Yellow paintwork to create a two-colour look. It’s complemented by new two-tone 15” wheels, Waze badges and a gloss black finish for numerous components including the skid plates, mirror caps and door handles.

For the first time, Fiat has decided to install the two-cylinder TwinAir engine in the Panda Waze. The 2019 model is therefore available with these three options:
  • 68 bhp (51 kW / 69 PS) 1.2 litre, four-cylinder, petrol / five-speed manual transmission / front-wheel drive
  • 83 bhp (63 kW / 85 PS) 0.9 litre, two-cylinder, petrol / five-speed manual transmission / front-wheel drive
  • 83 bhp (63 kW / 85 PS) 0.9 litre, two-cylinder, petrol / six-speed manual transmission / all-wheel drive
Of course, the whole point of this variant is to highlight Panda Uconnect, an app for Android and iOS that incorporates the well-known Waze navigation app. Using a dashboard cradle, it allows a suitable Bluetooth-connected smartphone to become a key part of the car’s infotainment system.

UK prices for the 2019 Panda Waze have yet to be confirmed.
