Volkswagen Amarok Black Editions revealed
A few more Amarok pick-ups need to find buyers, so Volkswagen has resorted to introducing a couple of Black Edition models.
One is based on the Highline version while the other uses the Aventura as its starting point. Both come with numerous black components, such as a polished grille treatment, 20” ‘Talca’ alloy wheels, sidebars, the rear bumper and a styling bar behind the cab.
The theme continues inside, where there’s a black headlining and dashboard insert. Every Black Edition also features the Lights and Vision pack and Discover Media Navigation.
Power is provided by the usual 3.0 litre V6 turbo-diesel engine that’s joined to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Outputs of 201 bhp (150 kW / 204 PS) or 254 bhp (190 kW / 258 PS) are being offered.
