2020 Renault Trafic Black Edition launched
Renault has introduced the Trafic Black Edition, which is going to be available in cargo-carrying Panel Van and six-seat Crew Van forms.
Like the existing Sport trim grade, the standard equipment list includes metallic paint, automatic lights and wipers, rear parking sensors, cruise control and a touchscreen-operated MediaNav infotainment system that’s compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In addition, the Black Edition gains climate control, a reversing camera, body-coloured side mouldings and some unique graphics. A black finish for the front grille and 17” ‘Cyclade’ alloy wheels completes the package. However, if an even more distinctive look is required, then an optional body kit consists of a lower front bumper, side skirts and a roof spoiler.
Power comes from the usual 2.0 litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that’s being offered in two states of tune. The dCi 145 version provides 143 bhp (107 kW / 145 PS) with 350 Nm (258 lb/ft) of peak torque, while the dCi 170 alternative increases those figures to 167 bhp (125 kW / 170 PS) and 380 Nm (280 lb/ft).
Renault dealers will begin accepting Trafic Black Edition orders in April. On-the-road starting prices range from £34,491 to £41,631:
