2021 Kia Sorento first view
Kia has released some images of its upcoming fourth-generation Sorento, which is based on an all-new platform.
A longer wheelbase and shorter overhangs give this mid-size SUV subtly different proportions. In addition, the A-pillars sit 30 mm (1.2”) further away from the front axle than before.
The styling details follow Kia’s “refined boldness” design philosophy. Accordingly, the front grille has become wider, the body surfacing is sharper and the rear light clusters are now arranged vertically.
Although technical specifications remain unknown, an electrified powertrain is promised. Expect plenty of connectivity, infotainment and driver assistance features, too.
The 2021 Sorento is due to appear in public for the first time at next month’s Geneva International Motor Show. On-sale dates for Europe haven’t been announced yet.
