2022 Honda HR-V first view
According to Honda, the all-new third-generation HR-V compact SUV benefits from the brand’s latest “seamless, clean design philosophy”. Although the unremarkable styling is neat enough, it loses the previous model’s distinctive chunky proportions, bold surfacing and pronounced coupé-like side glasshouse.
As can be seen from the images below, the cabin features an uncluttered, almost minimalist dashboard layout. Plenty of soft-touch materials are intended to create a premium ambience, while Honda says that thoughtful packaging has given the interior a spacious feel. Sensibly, fold-flat and flip-up ‘Magic Seats’ are retained for the rear row.
Full technical specifications have yet to be confirmed, but every HR-V sold in Europe will come with an e:HEV hybrid powertrain. Deliveries are due to begin towards the end of this year.
