UK prices for the all-new Volkswagen Multivan
Volkwagen’s replacement for the Caravelle people carrier is the new Multivan. Built on the MQB modular platform architecture, it can be configured with either 4,973 mm (195.7”) or 5,173 mm (203.6”) body lengths.
The interior features a completely flat floor that incorporates tracks for the seven individual seats. Multiple layouts are possible, because the five lightweight chairs in the rear are both moveable and removable. Furthermore, a multi-function table unit slides fore and aft as required.
Two trim grades named Life and Style are being offered.
As standard, Life variants come with LED headlights, 16” alloy wheels, twin sliding side doors, a 10” infotainment screen and the Front Assist suite of safety technologies (consisting of Dynamic Road Sign Display, City Emergency Braking, and Lane Assist).
Among the extra items of equipment on the Style are interactive LED matrix headlights, 17” alloy wheels, satellite navigation, Park Assist and power-operated sliding doors.
In addition, an Energetic launch edition is going to be available for a limited period. Distinguished by 18” alloy wheels, privacy glass and a panoramic sunroof, this special model also gains a Harmon Kardon audio system.
There’s a choice of three front-wheel drive powertrains:
