BMW creates the Concept Stunt G 310

As its name suggests, the BMW Concept Stunt G 310 is a compact bike that’s been designed for maximum agility.

Built with input from well-known stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer, the G 310’s small dimensions are complemented by a newly-developed single-cylinder engine.

This features a cylinder head which is rotated by 180° and an upright exhaust silencer that sits between the motor and the rear suspension’s spring strut. Such an arrangement means the wheelbase can be kept short, while allowing a fairly long rear swingarm.

For performing tricks, extra foot rests are provided by front-axle pegs and an opening in the centre of the solid aluminium tail section. Other modifications include an auxiliary rear-brake lever mounted on the left handlebar and a lockable throttle.

Usefully, crash bars are fitted too…
