BMW builds a hover bike (sort of)
Fans of Lego Technic will already know that kit number 42063 – the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure motorcycle – comes with alternative instructions to construct the Hover Ride Design Concept.
Now, the real thing exists. Staff from BMW Junior Company Munich have produced a life-size replica, which uses a mixture of stock and custom parts.
Of course, BMW's Hover Ride Design Concept can't actually hover, but it looks intriguing nevertheless. A trike conversion (with a single rear wheel as per the Can-Am Spyder F3) is certainly easy to envisage.
