Mini Cooper S Paddy Hopkirk Edition unveiled

Commemorating the 56th anniversary of an event is rather random. Nevertheless, Mini has decided that its latest special model should celebrate a famous victory at the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally.

The 2020 Paddy Hopkirk Edition is named after the driver of the Mini Cooper S which won over half a century ago. His car’s 37 start number and 33 EJB registration number both feature prominently on the modern tribute.

Based on the current three-door Cooper S, the new arrival’s red paintwork and contrasting white roof replicate the original BMC Competitions Department livery. Also fitted are 17” ‘Track Spoke Black’ John Cooper Works light alloy wheels, plus many external components gain a gloss black finish.

Some extra grille-mounted lights, an Alcantara-covered JCW steering wheel, the Comfort Pack and the Navigation Pack complete the enhanced Paddy Hopkirk Edition specification.
