Ford introduces the Ranger MS-RT pick-up
Ford and conversion specialists MS-RT have collaborated to produce a new street-focused version of the Ranger pick-up. Named Ranger MS-RT (obviously), it’s based on the existing Wildtrak trim grade with a choice of either Super Cab or Double Cab configurations.
Unique exterior features include a hand-built front bumper and a carbon fibre-effect grille. Furthermore, 20” OZ Racing alloy wheels sit beneath extended arches, which are connected by bespoke side skirts. Customers can opt for Agate Black, Sea Grey or Frozen White paintwork.
Inside, there’s leather upholstery with contrasting orange stitching and embroidery. Heated front seats, ambient lighting, a Sync 3 infotainment system and a set of MS-RT floor mats are also part of the standard specification.
The sole available engine is a 2.0 litre EcoBlue diesel. This bi-turbo unit sends up to 213 PS (210 bhp / 156 kW) plus 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque to all four wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission.
Ford dealers in selected European markets are going to be responsible for selling the Ranger MS-RT. Deliveries should begin during the summer of 2021.
