A special edition for the Leaf’s tenth birthday
Ten years have now passed since the original Leaf pure-electric hatchback was introduced, so Nissan is marking the anniversary with a special version of the current model.
Named Leaf10, it comes with either Pearl Black metallic paintwork or – at extra cost – a Ceramic Grey and Pearl Black two-tone finish. Regardless of the colour scheme chosen, a unique look is achieved by ‘Kumiko’ patterned decals that appear on the door mirror caps, above the side windows and between the rear light clusters. A set of 17” five-spoke alloy wheels is fitted, too.
The enhanced standard specification also includes an Intelligent Rear View Mirror (which incorporates an LCD monitor to display images from a rear-mounted camera), Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention, the ProPILOT suite of semi-autonomous technologies, an e-Pedal one-pedal driving function and an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot.
Nissan dealers are accepting Leaf10 orders now. On-the-road prices start from £28,820 (after deducting the government’s Plug-in Car Grant).
