Updated 2022 Renault Trafic van now available

Renault dealers in the UK are now accepting customer orders for the revised 2022 Trafic van, ahead of first deliveries which are expected to take place this coming December.

The most visible change is the smart new front end. LED headlights flank a more prominent grille, while the bumper and bonnet have both been restyled.

Cab enhancements include a higher-quality look and feel for the dashboard and door panels. Among the available features are lane departure warning, active emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a reversing camera, wireless device charging, and an 8” touchscreen-controlled infotainment system.

Power is provided by a Euro 6D-Full compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that’s being offered in dCi 110, dCi 130, dCi 150 and dCi 170 guises. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard, but the dCi 150 and dCi 170 can be combined with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission instead.

As well as two wheelbases and two roof heights, there’s a choice of Business, Business+, Sport and Sport+ trim grades. UK prices start at £25,200 (plus VAT).

Aston Martin Vantage GTE

Aston Martin Racing has announced that it’ll be entering a V8 Vantage in the GTE Pro category of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship. Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE. The plan is to contest all eight rounds of the WEC, which commences with the 12 Hours of Sebring on the 17th of March. For the third race - June’s Le Mans 24 Hours - a second Vantage is going to be run, but its drivers have yet to be named. 2012 Civic NGTC livery

Honda Racing’s all-new Civic NGTC race cars were first seen at a Brands Hatch test session last month. Then they were painted plain white, but now the colour scheme that will be worn in this year’s British Touring Car Championship has been revealed. As expected, the design is predominantly white with red and black stripes. A deal with Yuasa has also been confirmed, which will see the battery manufacturer becoming the renamed Honda Yuasa Racing Team’s title sponsor for the next three years.
