Xtreme Recon Package for the Wrangler Willys
Jeep has introduced an Xtreme Recon Package for its Wrangler Willys.
Intended to enhance the Wrangler’s off-road abilities, the upgrade includes 17” beadlock-capable wheels, 35” BF Goodrich KO2 tyres, a 38.1 mm (1.5”) suspension lift, recalibrated dampers, a 4.56:1 axle ratio, and performance disc brakes.
Consequently, ground clearance gets increased to 327.6 mm (12.9”), while the maximum wading depth becomes 853.4 mm (33.6”). The approach, break-over and departure angles are 47.4°, 26.7° and 40.4° respectively.
The Xtreme Recon Package is going to be available on Wrangler Willys models powered by the 288 PS (285 bhp / 212 kW) 3.6-litre V6 eTorque mild-hybrid system.
Jeep dealers in the United States will begin taking orders for vehicles equipped with this $3,995 cost option next month. Production is then due to start in December.
