The Ford Mustang Mach-E at SEMA 2021

Ford is planning to exhibit three modified examples of its electric Mustang Mach-E at this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show.

One of them is the Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT Concept, which offers a preview of what a future production model could look like.

On the outside, graphene-infused carbon fibre body panels improve the aerodynamics and reduce lift. While there are no powertrain enhancements, the chassis gains Shelby-tuned Ford MagneRide dampers, composite carbon fibre springs, and 20” one-piece forged Monoblock wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres.

A custom carbon fibre front splitter and rear wing from Archetype Racing adorn the Mustang Mach-E GT AWD built by the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.

Producing 480 horsepower (357 kW), it also features Ford Performance Parts GTP seats, 20” Rotiform Wheels Alloy R-159 OZR wheels, Brembo brakes and an adjustable Motion Control Suspension set-up.

The Tjin Edition Mustang Mach-E California Route One completes the trio. This eye-catching creation blends orange paintwork with a white leather interior.

Among the upgrades are an air suspension system by Hoppo’s Suspension, 22” Vossen ML-R1 wheels, Falken ZIEX S/TZ05 tyres, and a Baer 6S six-piston big brake kit. Furthermore, solar panels are fitted to power a RayVolt USA electric bicycle that sits on a rear-mounted Thule rack.

The trade-only SEMA Show opens in Las Vegas on the 2nd of November.
