UK prices for the all-new Dacia Jogger
Dacia is now accepting online pre-orders for the all-new Jogger, ahead of the first deliveries which are due during the first half of 2022.
Measuring 4,547 mm (14’ 11”) long with a 2,898 mm (9’6”) wheelbase, this seven-seat MPV sits on the same CMF-B platform that’s already used by the latest Logan saloon and Sandero hatchback. It’s effectively a replacement for the defunct Logan MCV estate.
Customers have a choice of Essential, Comfort or Extreme SE trim grades.
The Essential features automatic headlights, electric front windows, air conditioning, cruise control, rear parking sensors and the radar-controlled Automatic Emergency Braking System. Infotainment is handled by Media Control smartphone docking working with Bluetooth, a dedicated Dacia app, and the car’s speakers.
Additional exterior equipment on the Comfort includes front parking sensors, 16” ‘Flex’ steel wheels, automatic windscreen wipers, power-adjustable heated door mirrors, modular roof rails, a reversing camera and keyless entry.
The Comfort’s interior specification boasts an electric parking brake, blind spot warning, automatic air conditioning and electric rear windows. Furthermore, Media Display incorporates an 8” touchscreen, two USB ports and compatibility with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Dacia intends to offer the range-topping Extreme SE for a limited period only. Its standard kit list gains front and rear skid plates, door protection strips, black 16” alloy wheels, black door mirror caps, and Media Nav (with built-in satellite navigation). Heated front seats are fitted too, along with fold-down tray tables and cup holders for second-row occupants.
The sole available engine is a TCe 110 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit. 110 PS (108 bhp / 81 kW) plus 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of peak torque are delivered via a six-speed manual transmission, resulting in a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) time of 11.2 seconds and a 114 mph (183 km/h) top speed.
Efficiency is acceptable but not outstanding. Depending on the variant, between 47.1 and 49.6 mpg (6.0 and 5.7 l/100km) is achieved on the WLTP combined cycle, while CO2 emissions are 132 g/km.
