Power comes from an air-cooled and fuel-injected 124 cc single-cylinder engine, which is mated to a four-speed gearbox with an automatic centrifugal clutch. Peak output and torque are rated at 9.3 PS (9.2 bhp / 6.9 kW) and 10.8 Nm (7.9 lb-ft) respectively.

Honda reckons that those figures should be sufficient for two-up cruising at 55 mph (90 km/h). Furthermore, impressive fuel economy – 179.9 mpg (1.6 l/100km / 63.7 km/l) according to the WMTC measure – results in a theoretical tank range of approximately 150 miles (240 kilometres).
