Renault introduces the Zoe Venture Edition

Renault has added the Venture Edition to its pure-electric Zoe line-up.

This new arrival is based on the existing entry-level Play trim grade, so the standard specification already includes LED headlights, automatic lights and wipers, 15” Flex wheels, front electric windows, cruise control, Bluetooth, a 7” infotainment touchscreen and Android Auto / Apple CarPlay compatibility.

The Venture Edition gains climate control (upgraded from manual air conditioning), rear electric windows, satellite navigation and rear parking sensors. There are extra driver aids too, namely Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Active Emergency Braking and Automatic High Low Beam.

As per the Zoe Play, power is provided by a 108 bhp (80 kW / 110 PS) R110 electric motor, while 52 kWh of energy is stored in a Z.E. 50 battery pack.

Renault dealers will begin accepting Zoe Venture Edition orders next month. The on-the-road starting price – after deducting the government’s Plug-in Car Grant – is £28,495.
