Nissan Juke Enigma special edition launched

There’s a new member of the Nissan Juke line-up. Named Enigma, it features a unique look.

Distinctive patterned decals above the side windows and on the door mirror caps are complemented by a set of black 19” ‘Akari’ alloy wheels. Customers can opt for black, metallic grey or pearlescent white paintwork, all of which come with a black finish for the roof.

Furthermore, the standard NissanConnect infotainment suite has gained Amazon Alexa compatibility. Once linked to the owner’s NissanConnect Services account, any Alexa-equipped device with the dedicated ‘Nissan Skill’ activated is now able to execute various remote monitoring and control functions. They include sending an address to the car’s navigation system and checking that the doors are locked.

UK prices for the Juke Enigma start from £23,195, so it slots between the existing N-Connecta and Tekna trim grades. Dealers are already accepting orders.

Honda WSB team launch

Honda has unveiled its works team for the 2011 World Superbike championship . The announcement of Castrol as title sponsor means the return to a very familiar colour scheme for the pair of CBR1000RR Fireblade bikes, which will be ridden by Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus. As in recent years, Honda has entrusted Dutch concern Ten Kate Racing with running the factory WSB team. First thing on the Castrol Honda agenda is a two day testing session at the Motorland Aragón circuit in Spain later this week. The 2011 WSB season comprises thirteen rounds with Phillip Island, Australia hosting the opening race on 27 February.
